Our activity programme allows for a balance of play and rest so that the children gain the maximum benefit from their time at nursery. In addition we ensure a balance of adult led and child centred activities, allowing the children to learn at their own pace.
Our curriculum is grounded in shared values and is tailored to accommodate local needs and circumstances.
Our spacious playrooms offer a fantastic range of activities and resources are carefully chosen to support all aspects of early learning.
Our quiet corners provide opportunities for the children to enjoy storytime and reading activities, small group discussion and other tranquil activities of their choice.
Our art & craft areas provide opportunities for the children to experiment with a range of creative media including paint, crayons, chalk, pencils, clay and other modelling materials.
Other activities available include, environmental projects, cooking, construction, role play, technology, music, sand and water. In addition, we employ external specialists to provide foreign language lessons and music classes.
Play – Based Learning
In the early years, play is a powerful catalyst for cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Our curriculum is based on Froebelian approaches.
‘‘Through play, children explore the world around them, laying the foundation for curiosity, problem solving and a love of learning.’’
Our practitioners are facilitators and guides in the learning process. They observe children closely, understand their interests, and provide a supportive environment for their natural development.
Play is an essential feature of the nursery programme, allowing children to follow their own interests and learn at their own pace covering a wide range of the curriculum.
Our outdoor environment offers children the freedom to explore, create, and discover through meaningful play. With opportunities for climbing, balancing, and imaginative role play, children develop confidence, coordination, and social connection.
Every element of our space is designed to nurture curiosity and independence, allowing children to learn naturally through joyful, self-directed experiences.
